Well finding a dress is a daunting task as I’m sure you have already gathered before reading this. I found the David Tutera (DT) gown Flo online. It was everything I had wanted, it had the gorgeous lace, little bit of bling and buttons on the back with the sweetheart neck line. From others I had seen the quality of DT’s lace I felt was of the highest standard. I honestly don’t think you can fully appreciate the gown/ his gowns until you see them in person and feel their quality.

I had initially found a DT stockist closer to home to be honest however without boring you all they really let me down. I then found CBW!!!

My initial contact with CBW was via email (as by this point I wasn’t wanting to speak with another stockist due to my experience with the first shop which I won’t name as they are no longer in business-no surprise there)

Within a few hours I had a response from Dev at the shop and I was instantly put at ease.

From then on my experience with CWB got better and better.

Upon my first visit to the shop (which is easy to find and parking is available nearby) I really started getting those exciting butterflies again. Meeting Dev and Lindsay initially; and then the other ladies they made me and my family feel very welcome, almost like your going round to a friends house. We joked and laughed a lot!!

To some the shop might appear small however I think it’s just perfect. It’s set in a lovely courtyard with some shops nearby. CWB shop is on two levels so it accommodates for disabled visitors also so no one need miss your experience. The shop itself is immaculate with a wide variety of dresses to be seen but as above I had a particular dress in mind.

I was much heavier when I first visited the shop with the plan being to loose weight as most brides plan to. At no point did the girls make me feel overweight and they always gave their honest opinions. There was certainly no falseness/hard sell as i felt in other shops the CWB ladies genuinely want you to feel fantastic on the day and make you happy. Sounds cheesy but that’s really truly how I felt throughout.

Nothing was too much hassle. I had wanted a small change to the dress for the day/evening and Lindsay came up with a fantastic idea to put poppers on the sections of lace/where it attached to the dress. That way the lace sections were on in the day and I simply popped them off for the evening doo to give a different look.

I had a few meltdowns (worrying about my weight/not getting in the dress or looking ok) but again the girls stepped in supplying reassurance and advice.

Appointments are not rushed in anyway and  despite knowing how busy they are with wedding fairs and other brides they always took the time to help if needed.

Looking back I always left CBW with a massive smile on my face and they were always very responsive to calls/emails if i needed anything.

After purchasing my dress I bumped into Dev and Lindsay at one of the wedding shows. I thought to myself oh they are busy Ill leave them to it and plus secretly I thought oh they have the sale now they won’t care but I was very wrong!!! They politely excused themselves from the lady they were helping (to be honest she was talking to her mum about a veil anyway) to talk to me for a few moments, truly just lovely people and not business like at all, perfect personal touch.

On the day I picked the dress up they were fab again !! I was getting married abroad so they were really helpful and packed it in my case for me and I was on my way.

A few months after my wedding a friend of mine in Ireland had the wrong size dress ordered for her! Can u just imagine? I contacted CWB to see if they could help rectify this and again so quick to respond giving some suggestions as to how to help the bride etc they even followed up with me to see if she got sorted, customer service or what!!!

Not enough words to tell you how lovely these women are. Part of me is upset that I won’t be using their services again (well I would hope not haha) but then on the other hand pointing my friends/sisters in CWB direction when the time comes that they will need a dress I know they will have the most amazing experiences as I have so that makes me happy.

When the time comes for you to Say yes to that dress I hope your surrounded by the team at CWB
